Pristine condition; that sounds like I am describing a collectable.  And in a way it is a sort of collectable.  In recent years fabric artists and crafters have made miniature works in the form of fabric post cards. I always wondered if you really could mail them and get them delivered in one piece.

Vern, who I met at Arrowmont last summer, has sent me my first fabric postcard. And yes it arrived in pristine condition after traveling from South Carolina to Florida!  It is made of two beautiful pieces of discharged fabric with simple hand stitches visually connecting the two fabric selections.  The postcard back is made of cardboard or heavy stock and contains the area for placing the stamp and address.

I could get used to having these delivered to me!
