This is one last look at some of the quilts from the World Quilt Show in West Palm Beach this month. This time the quilts are all from the US.
Mark Sherman’s “Poppy’s Rainbow” won Best of Show for the Southeastern States Quilt Competition.
“Faces” by Natalie Carlton won Second Place in the World Quilt Show Florida IV Southeastern States Quilt Competition.
Ellen Linder’s “Crotons” won a ribbon for the Best Use of Color.
“Waiting for the Mail” by Mary Wilber Wirchansky won Best of Country -USA, for the International World Quilt Competition.
“The Wrath of Poseidon” by Marilyn Belford won Second Place for Innovation among the International entries at the World Quilt Competition.
These award winning quilts are followed by a few others that especially caught my attention.
“My Backyard Pond” is by Marjan Kluepfel.
“Discovering Teal” is by Lisa Kijak.
“Buttercup Radiance” is by Juanita Yeager.
